I was wondering if there is a final cast list – my friend’s daughter played the part of “Dakota” – a little girl in the Mother’s Group, but I haven’t seen her name in any of the credits on any of the “Back-up Plan” sites or when I looked on the IMDB site. Is it possible that she got cut out of the film or do you think the final cast list not yet been posted? What do you think??

right now I’d say that the final list is not published. Congrats to your friend (and her daughter)! IMDB may never show the entire cast, and some info does not get updated until late in the game or even after readers submit changes. And of course, not all parts are credited in the ways everyone expects…

Thanks for your response! Hopefully she’ll make the final cut!

Sick of these assholes men who create movies that show horrible birth experiences and stupid actresses who play these women. Can they create a comedy where the men are impotent – that would be funny too!

Hi, I think this is maybe a side-effect of the tone of the superbowl add. As some commentary on other sites points out, CBS went for the biggest ROI with the ad, basically, the men watching the big game. There has actually been a lot of kick-back across the board, suggesting there was a slight misogynistic tone to many of the ads yesterday. Anyway, in the case of this movie, I think it is mean to be funny…it is definitely taking advantage of the mystery and frightening nature of real birth. But, I also think that you’ll find that the script (written by a Kate, Kate Angelo) has room for a more tender side. And the director, Alan Poul, is not exactly your average asshole guy…in fact both of these creatives have a pretty different view of the whole subject from your typical average person. Anyway, i think the scene was probably mostly for shock and humor…
