Alex O’Loughlin attended a Nov 11 event hosted by IWC Schaffhausen, which is a 140 year-old luxe watch maker. I work for a watch company (Nixon), and let me tell you, IWC is the real (expensive, high quality) deal. The official press release lists the following attendees, in addition to Alex:
“Jason Bateman, Justin Bartha, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart, Anthony Kiedis, Flea, James Van Der Beek, Harry Morton, Michael Muller, Jenni Kayne, Shiva Rose, Rosetta Getty & Larry King and many more.”
The event celebrated the work of famous photographer Michael Muller and benefited the Charles Darwin Foundation.
The New York Times write-up caught my eye. It was punnily titled, “Two Guys Worth Watching” and concetrated on Jason Bateman and Alex and featured the following picture:

Kindof interesting for the two male leads of “artificial insemination romantic comedies” to be in the same spot and then in the same write-up.
Also interesting in a six-degrees type of way, Jason Bateman was there, and James Van Der Beek played Sean Bateman in the Bret Easton Ellis/James Avery “The Rules of Attraction” – so small world. Bateman is the surname of choice for Ellis, and for me is associated with “American Psycho” – shudder.
