CBS Films is makin’ movies

October 28th, 2009

CBS Films flipped around the schedule, as mentioned before.  So now, the Crowley Project has been named “Extraordinary Measures” and will release on 1/22/2010.  “The Back-up Plan” will now me the second film released under the banner, on March 12, 2010.  Next up will be “Beastly” – which is generating quite a bit of buzz, and in fact some products from my day job may be featured in the movie.  And there are quite a few other projects in progress already.
Anyway, there was a press release about an upcoming project called “Faster” and starring Dwayne Johnson.  Billy Bob Thornton has signed up to play a veteran cop.  But, it says they are still looking for someone to play an egocentric hit man.  Hello, I’m your guy.  I even have some acting experience: in college I was in a short-lived soap opera as “the neurotic pre-med student” but whenever I described the role to my friends, they insisted on hearing about the “erotic pre-med” – hmmm, maybe i’m not qualified after all.
