Hi out there at the end of the intertubes. I haven’t posted a single thing in over a week, and for that, I apologize. My day job is for a company that does their fiscal year though Jun 30th. So, I’ve spent the last week running reports and generally helping out with the year-end procedures. But, we closed the books and now I can come up for air. It was a slow news week for the movie, but now I will get back to the business of blogging.
Facebook friends are great and one of them turned me on to a site for “The Back-up Plan” on facebook, which looks official. My friends are slower to update me than nadioz @ LovelyLopez, ’cause while i was typing this up this morning this was posted over there. But anyway, there is a terribly cute promo poster:

In bloggy news, we have selected a winner of our June contest. That winner has been contacted by email, so congrats. I was looking at the DVD packaging for “Comic Book Villains” and there is a connection to “The Back-up Plan” — chapter 18 of the DVD is a scene called Plan B — pretty crazy.

Welcome back, Tim. It’s a great promo poster (only they forgot to put Alex’s name on it).
I suppose this group on Facebook is official….started by CBS?

Oops! How can one not include the name of Alex on the otherwise pretty poster?
He is the leading man after all!

yeah, i think that is a little surprising. My guess is that this is just the teaser poster. It may have even gone to the art dept before production. For sure they will follow it up with a poster based on the real ads, which out to have the stars’ faces and names. One thing that is a little confusing about the poster, even though it is cute, is that it is comunicating the concept of love tied to conception…which kinda doesn;t fit with the film as i undertsand it.
