Ok, not totally freaking out, but maybe a little.  My kid is napping so my wife and I just watched a movie.  We watched “The Number 23” – it is a Jim Carrey thriller all about obsession.  Without spoiling it, the main character starts to see coincidences and lots of occurrences of the number 23, hidden codes that break down to 23, etc.  Craziness ensues.  I’m familiar with this a bit because the nerds I went to school with at Pomona College (I am including myself) have a tradition of obsessing about the number 47. In the words of our readers who are inclined to think Alex O’Loughlin is attractive, “my goodness, he sure looks yummy in this video!”  The best is at the 22 second mark, someone close to the mic says, “Ask mom if she’s gonna make those meatballs.”  Well, I think Alex would like to know the answer to the burning meatball question, ’cause at 2:07-ish he is checking out the food on the plates as the walk by…or the girl, but we’ll go with the food.
